Meet Shweta

I grew up in India and started playing golf at 12 years old. I was always into sports, so it wasn’t a surprise when I picked up the game and got better at it, quickly. But a golf bug is a real thing, and it bit me hard. I wanted to turn professional and play on the LPGA tour.
I played on the Indian Amateur tour before turning towards Collegiate golf at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. My career there led me to the Sports Hall of Fame for UMSL in 2020 and the Great Lakes Valley Conference Hall of Fame in 2024.
After graduating with a Bachelors in Psychology, I returned to India to play on the Women’s Golf Association of India Professional Tour. Following four years on the tour, I transitioned into coaching, moving back to the United States to lead the program at Augsburg University in Minneapolis.
Eventually, I transitioned into the private country club sector as a Golf Professional, where I honed my skills for junior golf, group clinics, and private lessons. I earned my PGA membership in 2024 and continue to focus on providing high-level instruction to golfers of all levels.
